Our guided trips on SUP’s focus on the Allegheny River which flows into New York through southern Cattaraugus County for 48 miles before entering Pennsylvania again. There are many shallow riffles throughout its length, making boat travel difficult, but ideal for SUP. The Allegheny River has one of the most diverse fish communities of any water in the state, as 71 different species of fish have been found here, including key species such as smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, carp and muskellunge. Due to limited or difficult access, this incredible warm water fishery has very few anglers.
We also offer guided SUP trips on the Cattaraugus Creek in western New York, which is approximately 68 miles (109 km) long. The section nearby to Ellicottville is often referred to as steelhead Alley.
